A Vision of Sugarplum Layouts

I love traditions of Christmas and the holidays and I am always looking for different ways to capture our memories with my photos. The Sugarplum Digital Kit is perfect since the colors are different from the traditional Christmas palette so it gives my scrapbook albums variation from Christmas to Christmas.

The other great benefit with Sugarplum is that it doesn’t just have to be for Christmas, it works wonderfully with other celebrations!

Lauren’s birthday cake colors worked great with Sugarplum and the embellishments don’t just have to be for Christmas.

Layering is a always a fun effect when creating digital pages as it doesn’t add any bulk to your albums.  I have 8 layers for this one cluster on the page, but still only one layer in my album when printed.

Christmas photo traditions are always a part of our holiday celebrations.  I love capturing this photo year after year and then looking back at how much the children have grown.  I am not sure who changed the most in this photo!

The pastel colours in Sugarplum work so nicely with all of my photos.

One of the perks to working with digital is the resizing.  I resized this photo mat smaller to fit in the space I needed and then layers some of the sweet embellishments over the mat.

I am already looking forward to working with my Christmas photos this year as I know Sugarplum is going to be fantastic addition to my album!

Happy Creating!

  1. Fabulous layouts. I particularly like the eight-layer cluster taking up one layer on the page! Digital is a marvelous way to scrap! Thanks for sharing. <3
