To create this layout, you will need:
- Mermaid Cove Paper Pack
- Mermaid Cove Foiled Embellishments
- Mermaid Cove Stickers
- Raspberry Cardstock
- Scallop Border Punch
- 12-inch Straight Trimmer
- 2-Way Corner Rounder
- All-Purpose Scissors
- Tape Runner with Repositionable Adhesive
- Foam Squares
- Black Dual-Tip Pen
Step 1: Use the lavender patterned paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a piece of Raspberry Cardstock to measure 11″ x 11″. Adhere to the layout.
Step 3: Cut a piece of the white patterned paper to measure 10-1/4″ x 10-1/4″. Adhere to the layout.
Step 4: Cut a piece of the light lavender patterned paper to measure 12″ x 6″.
Step 5: Using the Scallop Border Punch, punch several strips from the blue wave patterned paper. Adhere using Repositionable Adhesive to the bottom section of the light lavender patterned paper. Curl up the top edges of the scallops to look like “waves” of water. Cut any excess borders along the edge using scissors. Adhere to the top portion of the white patterned paper.
Step 6: Cut a piece from the blue wave patterned paper to measure 12″ x 4″. Adhere to the bottom section of the white patterned paper.
Step 7: Use the 2-Way Corner Rounder to round the inside and top corners of the photos, as shown.
Step 8: Adhere stickers and embellishments using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
Step 9: Journal along the outer edge of the Raspberry Cardstock using a Black Dual-Tip Pen.
And that’s it! If you aren’t going to be trying out this mermaid scrapbook layout over the weekend, then water you doing?
