To create these projects, you’ll need:

Choose Faith Border

Step 1: Cut a 12″ x 3″ strip of charcoal patterned paper for the base. Cut a 12” x 2-1/2” strip of wood paneled paper and adhere to the base.

Step 2: Cut a 12″ x 1/2″ strip of olive branches paper and adhere to the border. Cut a 12″ x 1-3/4″ strip of gingham paper and mount on the border as shown.

Step 3: Punch six crosses with wood paneled paper and four crosses with charcoal patterned paper. Mount on the left and right sides of the border as shown.

Step 4: Add stickers to the middle of the border.

Trust in the Unknown Border

Depending on which order you put the papers in, you can get two variations of this border!

Step 1: Cut a 12″ x 3-1/8″ strip of gingham paper for the base. Cut an 11-5/8″ x 2-3/4″ strip of wood panel (olive branches) paper and mount it on the base.

Step 2: Cut a 11-1/4″ x 2-3/8″ strip of olive branches (wood panel) paper and also with beige cardstock. Mount the beige cardstock underneath to make the patterned strip sturdier. Punch five crosses from the strip at regular intervals. Tip: Punch the middle cross first. From the middle, measure 2-1/4″ and 4-1/2″ from both sides and punch. Apply foam squares liberally on the back and mount on the border.

Step 3: Add stickers as desired.

Thankful and Blessed Card

Step 1: Create the card base. Cut an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of beige cardstock. Using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scoring Blade, score along the long edge at 4-1/4″ and fold in half.

Step 2: Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of wood panel paper. Lightly tack the piece onto the front of the card. Open the card and place on cutting mat. Using the inside of the second-largest oval pattern and the Green Blade, placed on the lower right section of the card, cut an oval from the layered pieces. Remove the wood paneled piece, position the same oval pattern over the hole just cut and cut again, this time using the Red Blade. Reapply adhesive and mount on the card.

Step 3: Cut a 3-1/8″ x 1″ strip of gingham paper. Using scissors, make a V notch in one end. Adhere to the border and top with stickers.

Step 4: Cut a 4-1/4″ x 3-1/8″ piece of olive branches paper and adhere it to the inside of the card. Cut a 4-1/4″ x 1/4″ strip of wood panel paper and tuck it just behind the top edge. Punch crosses from wood panel, gingham and charcoal patterned papers. Apply Foam Squares to the charcoal cross and mount it so it’s in the middle of the oval cutout. Adhere the others, along with a sticker, to the inside edge as shown.

  1. Lovely ideas! During this time of our country’s challenges, a “Count Your Blessing” page could be a good thing, too.
