Vacations to far-away locations are a stellar way to explore the world and its sights and sensations. But as amazing as a trip to a far-flung land sounds, there’s something about hunkering down at home or playing tourist in your hometown or a nearby place. Enter: staycations (also known as “holistay” to some!). And on that note, the newest Staycation collection! This collection is inspired by the memories made during “the new normal,” and is great for photos of game nights, picnics and trips to the park, cooking and eating together, exploring the great outdoors and the other ways you enjoy your local surroundings. Peek at this layout and think about how you’d use this collection to commemorate your special local-living moments!

Step 1: Use a piece of teal Wi-Fi icon designer paper as the base for this layout. Cut the edges of a piece of block-print house designer paper to measure 11-5/8″ x 11-5/8″ and mount on top of the base.
Step 2: Cut a 12″ x 3-3/4″ piece of teal camera lens bursts patterned paper and adhere to the base, about 3/4″ from the bottom edge. Cut a 12″ x 2-1/2″ strip of yellow suns designer paper and mount on top, followed by a 12″ x 2″ strip of navy chevron designer paper. Top with the houses and fence border stickers.
Step 3: Grab a 4-1/2″ x 6-1/2″ navy chevron mat. Trim off one short end to form a roof shape. Adhere to the layout and tuck a 5/8″ x 1″ piece of kraft brown virtual conversation bubbles designer paper behind the “roof” to form a chimney. Cut a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of kraft brown virtual conversation bubbles designer paper for a mat and mount a 3-3/4″ x 5″ photo on top.

Step 4: Adhere the yellow “Moments” mat and a 6″ x 4″ photo to the layout as shown.
Step 5: Add stickers and embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for added dimension.
Step 6: Journal as desired.
