Either in a sandbox or on the beach, sandcastles are a great way to showcase your inner (and earthy!) architect. The process of sandcastle building can be a super fun-in-the-sun memory and anyone can do it (and there are some folks who take it very, very seriously — take the Guinness World Record for the tallest sandcastle, which came in at 57 feet, 11 inches!). Well, grab your shovel and pail, take out your camera and enjoy some sandy sensations this summer — and then make this beach scrapbook layout after!

Step 1: Use the poppy blue palm leaves paper as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Cut a piece of the yellow pineapples paper to measure 12″ x 3/4″. Adhere along the bottom edge of the layout.
Step 3: Lay the waves and sand laser-cut border about 1″ up from the bottom of hot pink tropical florals paper. Trace along the wavy edge of the border with a pencil. Cut along the pencil line with some scissors. Adhere the waves and sand border plus hot pink tropical florals paper along the top of the yellow pineapples paper.
Step 4: Reverse the hot pink tropical florals paper (so the white speckled side is showing) and rotate, so that the wavy piece that you cut from is at the top. Adhere this piece behind the wavy borders.
Step 5: Double-mat a 6″ x 4″ photo, using two pieces of paper: (1) 6-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and (1) 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″.
Step 6: Double-mat a 4″ x 4″ photo, using two piece of paper: (1) 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ and (1) 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″.
Step 7: Adhere photos/mats to the layout.
Step 8: Cut a piece of the teal dotted paper to measure 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″. Using the 12-inch Trimmer, cut from corner to corner creating two triangles. Adhere triangles along the corners of the photos/mats.

Step 9: Adhere the remaining laser-cut borders and stickers, adhering some with Foam Squares for added dimension. Journal as desired.

How big is the pink paper no size I see?
This layout is so pretty! I see directions to cut the yellow paper 3/4″ x 12″ and lay at the bottom of page but what size do we cut the pink paper? Is it a wavy cut?
