Document Those First-Year Memories With This Baby Scrapbook Idea
Baby’s first year is full of many milestones and memories — that first gummy smile, rolling and crawling around on the floor, deep belly laughs from playing peek-a-boo, that deliciously (and messy) first “real” meal and more. The ordinary and extraordinary moments from these tiny humans need to be captured and recorded, for the days, weeks and months truly fly by. Here’s a baby scrapbook idea if you want to document some month-by-month snapshots!

To create this layout you will need:
- Lullaby Lane Girl Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Lullaby Lane Variety Mat Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Lullaby Lane Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- White Solid Cardstock or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Custom Cutting System with Circle Patterns or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer with Straight & Scallop Blades or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Micro-Tip Scissors or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner Refill or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Navy Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Choose a sheet of White Solid Cardstock (or a White Refill Page) as the base for this layout.
Step 2: Using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade, cut a piece of navy blue brushstrokes girl designer paper to 11-1/2″ x 11-1/2″. (Tip: To conserve paper, you may wish to cut out the inside of this piece.) Adhere on the layout. With the 12-inch Trimmer and the Straight Blade, cut a piece of floral girl designer paper to 11-1/4″ x 11-1/4″. Mount on the top.

Step 3: Adhere the “Currently” mat, floral wreath journal mat and navy blue polka dots mat to the layout. Using the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade, cut a 6″ x 4″ piece of pink muslin blanket girl designer paper. Crop a photo to 5-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and mount on top. Adhere to the navy blue polka dots mat. Crop two photos to 3-1/4″ x 3″ and mount on the bottom of the layout as shown.
Step 4: Using the inside edge of the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Green Blade, cut a circle with pink muslin blanket girl designer paper. Mount a monthly embellishment on top and adhere to the layout.

Step 5: Add additional embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for added dimension. Add epoxy stickers.
Step 6: Journal as desired.
