To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of burlap designer paper as the base of this layout.

Step 2: Adhere the framing forest floor with tall trees laser-cut paper to the base.

Step 3: Using the Canoe Wave Chain Border Maker Cartridge, punch one canoe from Black Solid Cardstock and one canoe from the bark texture paper. Adhere the bark texture canoe on top of and slightly offset from the black canoe, so that it looks like there is a slight shadow. Cut two 1/8″ strips from the bark texture paper and twist to make a piece of “twine.” Use the Precision Point Adhesive Pen to adhere the twines to the “swing seat” (the adhered canoe pieces). Tie the swing to a branch on the laser-cut tree.

Step 4: Use the Field Fence Border Punch to punch a border from the wood planks designer paper and add it to the page.

Step 5: Cut four mats from night sky designer paper to measure 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″. Cut four mats from Light Blue Solid Cardstock to measure 4″ x 4″ and add to the night sky mat. Add mats to the page.

Step 6: Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension. Use the Brown Dual-Tip Pen to draw lines to journal on.

  2. Such an adorable page. Would you please post a short video of how you made the “twine”. I was not able to duplicate this.
