Shades of Seasonal Sightings Layout

Christmas-themed layout with four large hearts as a background, three photos and embellishments.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use the 12-inch Trimmer with Wave Blade to cut two 12″ x 1/4″ strips. Adhere strips to the top and bottom of a sheet of Shades of Seasonal Sightings paper.

Step 2: Use the outside edge of the largest heart of the Custom Cutting System Gemstone Pattern and the Green Blade to cut four hearts from Cranberry Solid Cardstock. Use the Red Blade to cut four hearts from Shades of Seasonal Sightings paper. Layer and adhere the hearts to the layout as shown.

Step 3: Cut three 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ photo mats from Cranberry Solid Cardstock. Crop three photos to 4″ x 4″. Adhere the photos to the mats and adhere to the layout as shown.

Step 4: Use a Black Dual-Tip Pen to add pen details to the wave strips, hearts and photo mats. Journal to the side of one heart.

Step 5: Add embellishments as shown using Foam Squares to add some dimension.

Shades of Polar Lights Layout

One-page snowboarding themed layout with four photos.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1:  Cut four 5″ x 5″ squares from a sheet of Shades of the Polar Lights paper. Adhere to a sheet of Shades of the Polar Lights paper as shown. Use a Navy Dual-Tip Pen to add pen stitch details to the squares.

Step 2: Cut four 4″ x 4″ squares from Baby Blue Solid Cardstock.

Step 3: Cut (16) 1-1/4″ x 1-1/4″ squares from a variety of Shades of Polar Lights paper. Adhere the squares to the corners of the four cardstock squares. Leave about 1/8″ from the edges.

Step 4: Cut four 3-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ photo mats from Shades of the Polar Lights paper. Crop four photos to 3-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ and adhere to the mats.

Step 5: Adhere the photos with mats to the cardstock squares. Use the lines on the 13×13 Custom Cutting System Mat to evenly line up the squares.

Step 6: Adhere embellishments to the middle of the layout using Foam Squares for added dimension.

Shades of Silver & Gold Layout

New Year's Eve themed layout idea with circle borders and four circle-shaped photos.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1:  Using the inside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade to cut 11 circles from Canary Solid Cardstock. Use the Green Blade on the inside edge to cut 10 circles from Shades of Silver & Gold Paper. Layer and adhere the circles.

Step 2: Using the inside edge of the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut five circles from Canary Solid Cardstock. Use the Green Blade on the inside edge to cut four circles from Shades of Silver & Gold paper and one circle from White Solid Cardstock. Layer and adhere the circles.

Step 3: Arrange and adhere the layered circles to the left side of a sheet of Shades of Silver & Gold paper as shown.

Step 4: Cut two 1/8″ x 12″ strips from Canary Solid Cardstock and adhere over the columns of circles.

Step 5: Using the outside edge of the smallest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and Green Blade, cut four circles from Canary Cardstock.  Use the Red Blade on the outside edge to cut (4) photos.  Layer and adhere to the layout as shown. 

Step 6: Add Silver and Gold Embellishments as shown.  Add journaling to a circle as shown.
