To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Cut out a 1″ width frame from White Shimmer Solid Cardstock and use it as the base. Set aside the square piece.

Step 2: Cut 10 1″ x 12″ strips from various papers. Adhere the strips to the square piece that you cut in Step 1. Trim off any overhang with scissors. Set aside the small pieces you trimmed off — you will need them for Step 4. Cut a piece of White Shimmer Solid Cardstock to measure 10-1/2″ x 10-1/2″. Adhere it on the backside of the square piece as shown above.

Step 3: Using the Sunshine Arches Border Maker Cartridge, punch two borders from White Shimmer Solid Cardstock. Cut each border at 1″ width. Add borders to the square piece and trim off any excess with scissors as shown.

Step 4: Adhere the small pieces from Step 2 to the 1″ frame base as shown.

Step 5: Adhere the square piece to the base frame.

Step 6: Cut three mats to measure 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ from Navy Solid Cardstock. Cut three mats to measure 4″ x 4″ from White Shimmer Solid Cardstock and add to the navy mats.

Step 7: Adhere embellishments and photo mats, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

What do you think of this mix and match scrapbooking layout? What projects have you made with the four shades of the Vivid Melodies collection?
