“Spring break” is often a looked forward to break for many school-aged kiddos and their parents, as well as college students. The weather finally starts to warm up a bit from the chill of Old Man Winter, and everyone is eager to dust off their luggage, get to packing and travel. (But let’s be honest, any time of year can call for a vacation to sandy beaches, an escape with besties, a chance to visit theme parks or national parks and more in order to kick back, relax and recharge those batteries — the world can be your oyster!) If you go for the sunny and sensational route, then this tropical scrapbook layout is your ideal scrapbooking getaway!
To create this layout you will need:
- Tropic Time Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tropic Time Tone-on-Tone Paper Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tropic Time Recipe Template or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tropic Time Stickers or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tropic Time Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- 12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Micro-Tip Scissors (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Repositionable Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Foam Squares or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Navy Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
- Pencil/eraser
Step 1: Use a piece of designer paper as the base for the layout.
Step 2: Using the Tropic Time Recipe Template, clips, papers of your choice and pencil, trace and cut out the desired shapes.
Step 3: Repeat this same step for your desired photos.
Step 4: Adhere all pieces to the layout.
Step 5: Adhere stickers/embellishments to the layout, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.
Step 6: Cut four pieces of navy tick marks tonal paper to measure 1/4″ x 12″. Adhere about 1/4″ from the outer edges of the layout. Journal as desired.
