Step 1: Use a piece of the navy tick marks tonal paper as the base. Cut a piece of the baby blue oversized florals tonal paper to measure 11-3/4” x 11-3/4” and add to the base.

Step 2: Use the Photo Labeling Pencil to trace the outer frame of the Tropic Time Recipe Template on the mustard sun tiles designer paper. Cut out the traced piece.

Step 3: Use the Brown Micro-Tip Pen to draw lines as shown to make it look like rope. Ink the edges with the Brown Dual-Tip Pen. Add it to near the upper edge of the page as shown.

Step 4: Use the Monstera Leaves Border Punch to punch two borders from the dark green mini triangles and one border from island water mini florals paper. Adhere the island waters border slightly offset from the dark green borders as shown. Add to the page.
Step 5: Cut one 4-1/4” x 6-1/4” mat and two 4-1/4” x 4-1/4” mats from the dark green mini triangles tonal paper. Cut one 4” x 6” mat and two 4” x 4” mats from White Solid Cardstock. Add the white mats on to the dark green mats.

Step 6: Adhere stickers, embellishments and mats, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Love this layout, especially the rope edge!
Such a fun idea, Sachi! Will have tropical photos after our trip in October.
What a super cute page. I love the frame technique. Definitely going to have to make this layout!
Beautiful Sachi. Can use this for my Aruba trip coming up in Aug.
Thank you Sachiyo! I have always been intimidated by the Recipe Templates. I did one when they first came out. I wasn’t really pleased with the results. Then I watched a tutorial that explained about using different parts of the recipe template to create! I LOVE what you did here! I just did it and I am going to show it tonight at my virtual crop in hopes to get more of my ladies using them! You are so creative!
I don’t have a sea pictures, but this for sure I’ll find maybe 🤔 school or something else to use it for. So beautiful!
