Give Props To Pops: Blue Scrapbook Layout For Father’s Day

Whether you are celebrating your father, stepdad, grandpa, spouse, brother, father figure or role model, we’re here to tip our hats (and creativity!) to the man or men of the hour. Or rather, the man of the day and every day — while the 18th of June marks Father’s Day this year, we can always share the love and give some props to pops all year round. Make this blue scrapbook layout from Creative Memories Product Designer Jaclyn Robertson, that even papa bear will get teary-eyed over this Father’s Day.

Blue-themed Father's Day scrapbook layout.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of white grid designer paper as the base for the layout.

Step 2: Cut (7) 2-1/2” x 12” strips from a variety of papers.

Step 3: Punch five squares on each strip using the Square Punch. (You’ll have a total of 30 squares on the finished layout.)

Step 4: Rotate the squares to create a diamond shape and equally space out before adhering, balancing out the patterns throughout. Adhere to the base paper. Trim away any excess with the 12-inch Trimmer or scissors.

Step 5: With Foam Squares, adhere (3) tile embellishments as shown on the right. Adhere enamels in the middle.

Step 6: Mount one 6” x 4” photo onto the large geometric mat card. Layer the dark blue wash mat beneath the matted photo.

Step 7: Adhere embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 8: Journal as desired.

How are you celebrating Dad for Father’s Day… or any day?! What do you think of this cool blue scrapbook layout?
