Step 1: Use a piece of cyan blue fans paper as the base for this layout. Cut two 1-1/2” x 12” strips with confetti paper and adhere on the left and right sides of the base.
Step 2: Make the donuts. Choose citrus yellow stripes and green stripes 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” variety mat. Using the inside of the largest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Green Blade, cut a circle out of the middle of each mat. Using the inside of the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Green Blade, cut a circle out of the middle of each larger circle, creating donut shapes. Adhere the rest of the mats on the layout and mount two 6” x 4” photos on top.
Step 3: Make the icing. Using the inside of the largest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut a circle with confetti paper/variety mat. Using the inside of the smallest Circle Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle out of the middle of each larger circle. Using Micro-Tip Scissors, cut a wavy edge around each circle. Adhere the “icing” on the donuts. If desired, adhere extra “sprinkles” (leftover confetti from punching with the Confetti Border Maker Cartridge). Adhere to the layout. Optionally, cut a “bite” out of one of the donuts using the Paw Punch.
Step 4: Make an oval donut. Using the inside of the largest Oval Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Green Blade, cut an oval from a 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” soft pink stripes variety mat. Make the icing. Using the inside of the largest Oval Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Green Blade, cut an oval with small pom-poms paper. Using the inside of the smallest Oval Custom Cutting System Pattern and the Red Blade, cut the top half of the oval from the larger oval. Reposition the pattern, moving it up slightly, and cut the bottom half of the oval, giving you a sort of eye-shaped cut-out. Freehand-cut out the drip of the “icing “using Micro-Tip Scissors. Adhere on the light pink donut and mount on the layout using Foam Squares. Adhere candles to the middle.
Step 5: Cut a 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” journal box from soft pink stripes variety mat. Adhere to the layout. Journal as desired.
Step 6: Adhere the “Happy Birthday” letter embellishments along the sides of the layout. Adhere additional embellishments using Foam Squares for added dimension.

Really cute donuts Krislyn. I’ve made a bunch of these this last year for Halloween layouts where my granddaughters wore donut costumes.
