It’s no secret that the arrival of the new year is associated with various traditions — cultures from around the world take time to prepare good-luck foods and dishes, make clinkable champagne toasts at midnight and dress up in glitzy and glittery outfits, all in the reflecting spirit of saying goodbye to the days of yore and hello to what’s to come! Let this be your resolution for making more memory-keeping projects — a silver and gold scrapbook layout — to bring good times and glam together in one striking party scene!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of cardstock (any hue) or a refill page as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut four 1-1/8” x 4-1/2” pieces with a polka dots variety mat. Adhere in each of the corners as shown.

Step 3: Adhere a 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” variety mat at both the top-left and bottom-right of the layout. Mount a 6” x 4” photo on each. Cut a 6-1/2” x 4-1/2” variety mat in half and adhere next to the previous mats as shown.

Step 4: Crop four photos to 3” x 3” and adhere across the middle of the layout.

Step 5: Add embellishments and journal as desired.
