The Big Game Pop-up Sketch Challenge: #CMBigGame

The Big Game is coming up on Sunday, Feb. 11, and to amp up the fun, we’re having a pop-up challenge in the Virtual Crop Group! Be the QB of the craft room and facilitate a flawless execution of the challenge for the chance to win a prize pack that sure is a touchdown! So, are YOU ready to tackle the Big Game Sketch Challenge?!

Review the pop-up challenge below in this post and/or in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group.
Make your “Big Game” layout ahead of the festivities now based on any of the three sketches below and add your photos later, OR create any layout based on football!
- Update: Since we understand not everyone will be watching the Big Game, your layout can be anything that you’ll be doing during the Big Game OR it can be a football-themed layout! So, if you’ll be scrapbooking on Sunday, prep a scrapbooking-themed layout to showcase those photos! If you have plans to be outdoors or will be having a cleaning-the-house day, then prep a outdoors-themed or home-themed layout for that!
Snap a photo of your finished project(s) and share it in a new post in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group by Sunday, Feb. 11, at 11:59pm CT (Australia: 12 Feb. at 4:59pm AEDT) with hashtag #CMBigGame for the chance to win a prize. We’ll have 2 lucky winners!
Winners will be announced in the Virtual Crop Facebook Group on Thursday, Feb. 15, at noon CT.

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to 2 participants who complete the challenge. We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be evident you created a Big Game-themed layout (guidelines above) of your own creation, or used a sketch we provided as inspiration, using predominantly Creative Memories products. Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Feb. 15, at noon CT.

To create this layout you will need:

Football Fever Embellishments or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia) — Discounted until Feb. 16!
Gridiron Theme Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
12-inch Trimmer or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Tape Runner or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Foam Squares Variety Pack or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Black Dual-Tip Pen or (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)

Step 1: Cut 1” off the bottom of a sheet of football field paper. Adhere to a sheet of football texture paper leaving about a 1/2” of the football field paper showing at the top and bottom.

Step 2: Crop two photos to 3” x 3”. From Gray Solid Cardstock included in the theme pack, cut two mats to 3-1/4” x 3-1/4”. Adhere photos to mats and adhere to the layout as shown.

Step 3: Cut stripes paper to 10” x 4-3/4” and adhere below the top two photos as shown.

Step 4: Crop photos to 6” x 4” and 3” x 4”. From Gray Solid Cardstock, cut mats to 6-1/4” x 4-1/4” and 3-1/4” x 4-1/4”. Adhere photos to mats. Adhere the matted photos to the stripes piece.

Step 5: Cut stars paper to 10” x 3/4” and adhere below the stripes piece as shown.

Step 6: Layer Football Fever Embellishments and Gridiron Stickers into clusters. Adhere the clusters with Foam Squares to the layout as shown.

Step 7: Use a Black Dual-Tip Pen to add journaling as shown.
