A Handy Dandy Renovation Layout

Lay the foundation for your memories with this tool themed layout! This handy layout can be created with products from the Riveting collection. It’s perfect for Father’s Day memories, showing off your special home projects and more! Keep reading to see how you can build your own layout!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of the pegboard paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut four strips to measure 1/2? x 12? from a piece of the dark wood paper. Adhere along the edge of the base.

Step 3: Use the Hand Tools Border Punch to punch tools from Platinum Shimmer and Black Solid Cardstock. Adhere the black pieces on the back of the platinum pieces, so that it looks like the black piece is a slight shadow. Use the Hand Tools Border Punch to punch tools from Cranberry, Dark Green and
Eggplant Solid Cardstock for the handles. Trim the excess with the scissors and adhere to the
platinum pieces.

Step 4: Trim off the welded sides of a horizontal 6? x 4? Peekaboo Pocket™. Cut it down to 6-1/2? x 2? (this size includes the adhesive strip part). Cut four 1/8? wide strips from Platinum Shimmer Solid Cardstock. Start adhering a platinum strip to the clear piece diagonally, spacing approximately 1? each other as shown.

The left side of the perforated line indicates an adhesive strip of the pocket. Adhere a strip as shown in red. Trim the right side along the red diagonal line to make it look like a metal basket.

Step 5: Cut two 2? x 1/4? strips and two 5? x 1/2? strips from a piece of the dark wood paper.

Step 6: Cut four 1/2? x 5? strips from a piece of crumpled paper-patterned paper for journal.

Step 7: Cut three mats to measure 4-1/4? x 4-1/4? from a piece of the plaid paper. Cut three mats to measure 4? x 4? from a piece of the crumpled paper-patterned paper. Adhere to the plaid mats.

Step 8: Adhere all the segments except the metal basket piece to the page. Adhere stickers and embellishments, using Foam Squares on some for added dimension.

Step 9: Cover the page with a page protector or insert in a pocket page. Adhere the metal basket
piece on the page protector/pocket page.
