Layout by Brenda Rose — Creative Memories Design Team Contributor

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use the red plaid tonal paper as the base of the page. If desired, gut a 9″ square from the center to set aside for use later.

Step 2: Cut a piece of Bright White Cardstock to measure 10″ x 10″. Before adhering to base, splatter bottom left and top right with ink. Adhere to base 1″ from all four edges.

Splattering: Rub a small amount of ink directly on an empty embellishment bag. Spritz with water. Mix the water and ink with a small paintbrush. Pick up some of the ink‑colored water with the paintbrush and tap it on your finger over the paper. Add as much or as little as you like.

Step 3: Cut a piece of sky blue tonal paper to 5″ x 9-1/2″. Adhere to your white cardstock 1/4″ from the bottom and 1/2″ from the right edge.

Step 4: Cut the green and yellow leaf laser cut border to 9-1/2″ long. Place vertically on the sky blue tonal paper 2″ from the right edge of the page.

Step 5: Cut two pieces of the tan tonal paper to 6‑1/8″ × 4‑1/8″ and two of the autumn brown tonal paper to 6-1/4″ × 4-1/4″. Mat the tan tonal piece on top of the autumn brown. At 2-1/2″ from the right edge of the page, adhere the top mat 2″ from the top and the bottom mat 2″ from the bottom using  foam squares as desired.

Step 6: Using the “Good Times” mat, cut each word out to 3/4″ wide (“Good” is 1‑7/8″ long, “Times” is 2-1/4″ long). Dovetail the right end of each piece. Arrange as shown.

Step 7: Finish the page with stickers and the Tailgating Embellishments, using foam squares to add dimension. Journal to the left of the photos.

Whether you’re cheering on your team or just soaking up the good times, this layout is a winning way to scrapbook your tailgate memories. How will you showcase your favorite game day traditions?
