Know what you’re looking for? Find it faster here:
In this post, you will find ALL four sketches for this crop (these sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the four sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To make sure we see all your submissions for a chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, October 14, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 15 October, at 3:59pm AEDT) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). Again, we’re so excited that you’re here. Happy scrapping!

Challenge #1 — #CMVirtualCrop1October2025

Challenge #2 — #CMVirtualCrop2October2025

Challenge #3 — #CMVirtualCrop3October2025

Challenge #4 — #CMVirtualCrop4October2025

Challenge #1

Collection Used: Noteworthy Days (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “Use Mat Cards to get a strip long enough to overhang both the top and bottom edges of a 12 x 12 layout! First mount two 4” x 6” photos onto two 4.5” x 6.5” mats cards and then tack the cards together to create a 13” long photo strip. Arrange the strip on the layout on a slight angle so that any 12” borders you use will still be able to touch the top and bottom edges of the layout. Adhere and trim off the overhanging photo/mat card!”
Challenge #2

Collection Used: Hide & Eek (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Annalisa’s Tip: “When adhering the photo mat over the spider web border, use Foam Squares to pop the mat up slightly from the page. This adds depth and shadow for extra dimension, especially when using two of the same papers next to each other. Get creative with your punches and BMCs to create a unique “flag” like I show with the Bats & Stars BMC!”
Challenge #3

Collection Used: Magic of Christmas (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Annalisa’s Tip: “Use the title mat and horizontal border to naturally guide the eye across your layout! Placing your title on one side and extending a decorative border across both pages creates a visual pathway that draws attention straight to your focal photo or journaling block. It’s a simple way to bring balance and flow to your spread — helping the viewer “read” your story from left to right.”
Challenge #4

Collection Used: Gingerbread Fun – COMING SOON!
Noreen’s Tip: “I love using mat cards to bring in different yet coordinating textures and patterns without cutting up additional 12 x 12 papers. Just remember thought that whenever you cut one of the double mat cards into two mats, they will each measure 3.25” x 4.5”, so make sure to trim your 3 x 4 photos slightly to 2.75” x 4” in order to have an even mat border all around the photo!”

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock or expected to return).
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be obvious you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project. You’re highly encouraged to use Creative Memories products, but it’s not a requirement to win. You have until Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 15 Oct., at 3:59pm AEDT) to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Oct. 16, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 17 Oct.).
