The Woodland Whimsy Baby Boy and Baby Girl Collections just might be my favorite product line yet! Both collections are full of versatile prints and incredibly cute embellishments and stickers. However, these collections are not just for baby photos. The woodland theme is also perfect for any type of outdoor photos. In fact, I think that the collections are neutral enough to be used for almost any type of photos.
As always, Creative Memories is right on trend with these collections. The woodland theme is currently a popular motif for baby nurseries, and both of my samplers would make a cute decor item. They could be used with an easel on a dresser or framed for the wall. The samplers would also make a great introduction page to a baby scrapbook album.

Today I am so excited to be sharing this project with you! I recently hosted a baby shower for a friend of mine and to create all of the party decor and elements I used the DIGITAL Cake My Day Collection!
Everything was pre-designed on my computer and then I sent it off to have it printed on cardstock at my local print shop. It was super fast, super fun to make, and best of all — it knocked the socks off the mama-to-be, which is always fun!
So, let’s get started! What I did first was downloaded the Cake My Day collection from the CM shop. Once the files were purchased, I uploaded them into my software and started to design!

Bold and geometric, the Argyle punch is fun to use on all kinds of page layouts. I’ve paired it with the versatile Denim Blues collection in each of the border ideas below; and added a theme with several of my favorite product collections. Try them as is or substitute with products you have on hand. Borders like these match up well on predesigned Fast2Fab as well as blank pages.
To make these borders you will need:

The first 12 months of a baby’s life are filled with precious moments that need to be photographed and saved. You may have noticed the wonderful photo trend that’s encouraging moms and dads to document a baby’s first 12 months in creative ways.
I’m going to share with you how you can create a baby’s first year album as a gift for a friend or family member. As an avid scrapbooker, I absolutely love sharing my completed albums with those I love. Not everyone in my life shares my passion for paper-crafting, but they all see the value in having memories preserved. Plus, they love spending time looking through the photos and reading the journaling. As you can imagine, when a completed album is gifted to them the response of appreciation is overwhelming!

Babies have so much fun splashing in the water when they are taking a bath! Bath time for them is just another playtime. It’s only natural that we would want to get pictures of them playing in the water for our baby scrapbooks. If you’re looking for some ideas for your own bath time scrapbook pages, here are two baby bath scrapbook layouts that might help.
First we’ll start with this layout I created with black and white bath time photos. Continue reading Baby Bath Time Scrapbook Layout Ideas
Who doesn’t love Pinterest? It is my go-to when I draw a blank creatively! Just scrolling through the boards on there generally provide me a touch of inspiration, in which I can use to start any scrapbooking layout or spread. Looking beyond the actual theme of the layouts on there, you can use any layout or spread as inspiration by just changing out the papers and embellishments. Sometimes I will change up the overall look slightly, and other times I will just use the pinned layout as a jumping off point! The following scrapbook layouts were used as inspiration to creating baby themed layouts using Creative Memories products! If you’ve been following the Creative Memories blog over the past couple of weeks, you’ve noticed that we’ve been sharing lots of tips and ideas to help busy Moms complete memory albums for their precious babies. In my blog post last week titled 10 Scrapbook Album Making Tips for New Moms, I talked about setting yourself up for success and offered tips like gathering your tools into one place for easy access. But it occurred to me that a mom (or anyone) who is brand new to scrapbooking is probably overwhelmed when attempting to figure out which tools are really necessary, so I thought it might be helpful to go over the tools that I feel are Must-Haves (when creating any type of album) and which tools are the Oh-So-Nice-to-Haves!
