To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use the gray patterned paper as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a piece from the dark blue patterned paper to measure 11″ x 11″. Adhere to the base.

Step 3: Cut a piece from the white patterned paper to measure 10-1/2″ x 10-1/2″. Adhere to the dark blue paper.

Step 4: Cut several strips that are varying lengths long by 1-1/2″ tall.  Using the 4-Way Hearts and Stars Corner and Hole Punch, punch the stars at the end of each piece. Adhere small scrap pieces of designer paper to the back of your strips, covering the star punch. Adhere to the far left side of the white paper. Tip: After adhering your photos, you can also add a strip to the right side of the layout.

Step 5: Cut a piece of gray patterned paper to measure 6-1/2″ x 4-1/2″ and a piece of blue patterned paper to 6-1/4″ x 4 1/4″. Adhere your 6×4 photo to the blue mat.

Step 7: Trim the word “Brave” from the blue patterned word paper and adhere to the layout with Foam Squares.

  1. Beautiful. More please!! We have a lot of military members, past and present in our family!!

      1. I”m doing a Freedom Rock album in my state which honors all past and present veterans. Would love to see more layouts so I can get some ideas on what to do. I love this one!!

  2. I love this layout. The colors are great. You usually think of red, white and blue, but these are perfect for the photos.

  3. Measurements for cutting the strips for this page are incorrect.  They should be 1.5″ high instead of 1 1/5″ high.

  4. Very inspiring! Would love it if CM will design packs of paper that are branch specific for the military, such as Air Force blues, etc. Have also had doing an album for my dad’s WWII days on my list of intentions so perhaps some paper and embellishments for that era would be a winner for CM too!

  5. Love it! Would love to see more military layout examples. Would also like to see more military related products – papers for the various branches, stickers, etc.
