Border 1: Live the Life

Step 1: Cut a 2-7/8″ x 12″ strip of argyle patterned paper for the base. Using the 12-inch Trimmer with the Deckle Blade, cut a 2-1/8″ x 12″ strip of silver patterned paper and mount it on the base, 1/8″ down from the top. Cut a 1-3/4″ x 12″ strip of tan patterned paper and adhere it on top.
Step 2: Using the Gears Chain Border Maker Cartridge, punch one border each with the silver patterned paper, map patterned paper and Black Cardstock. Layer the borders on the tan strip as shown, just under the top edge.
Step 3: Slide the “Time is a Gift” border sticker through the notches in the “Live the Life…” embellishment and place them on the bottom edge of the tan strip as shown.
Border 2: World’s Greatest

Step 1: Cut a 2-1/4″ x 12″ strip of tan striped patterned paper for the base. Cut a 1-3/4″ x 11-1/2″ strip of Platinum Shimmer Cardstock and mount it on top of the base. Cut a 1-1/2″ x 11-1/4″ strip of black patterned paper and mount it on top.
Step 2: Using the Gears Chain Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border with both Platinum Shimmer and Bronze Shimmer Cardstock. Trim 2-1/4″ sections off of each border. Mount three of each section along the border, angling and overlapping them as shown.
Step 3: Cut the gears embellishment in half. Using the inside of the medium Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a half circle with tan patterned paper. Using the inside of the large Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a half circle with Bronze Shimmer Cardstock. Mount the half circle shapes as shown, tucking them just behind the middle of the border. Mount the “World’s Greatest” sticker on top with Foam Squares. Add two bolt stickers to the ends with Foam Squares.

Border 3: Days Gone By
Step 1: Using the 12-inch Trimmer with the Deckle Blade, cut a 2-3/4″ x 12″ strip of black dot patterned paper for the base. With the 12-inch Trimmer Straight Blade, cut a 2-1/4″ x 12″ strip of tan patterned paper and mount it on top of the base. Cut a 2″ x 12″ strip of ledger patterned paper. Tear off the top at an angle, as shown, and adhere it to the border.
Step 3: Using the Gears Chain Border Maker Cartridge, punch one border each with the silver map patterned paper, tan patterned paper and black patterned paper. Trim off a 3″ section of each border and adhere it to the lower half of the border, aligning the gears and placing them at an angle, as shown.
Step 4: Add the “Days Gone By” embellishment, the “This is the Life” sticker and several gears stickers, popping some up with Foam Squares.
