Make Sunny Days a Total Splash With This Summer Scrapbook Layout

How do you spend your sizzling summer days? Do you hang out on the beach’s sandy shoreline or do you prefer the relaxing poolside lifestyle? Regardless of your preference, the Electric Summer collection has everything you need to commemorate cooling down on these hot days. Take a look at this summer scrapbook layout and dive into your own splashy spreads!

To create this layout, you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of White Cardstock or a White Refill Page as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut two 12″ x 1/2″ strips of yellow patterned paper and adhere them to the top and bottom of the layout.

Step 3: Using the Flip Flops Border Maker Cartridge, punch a border with yellow patterned paper. Trim to measure 12″ x 1-1/4″. Place a 12″ x 1-1/4″ strip of sunglasses patterned paper behind the strip. Adhere to the bottom of the layout, just above the yellow strip. Add a purple border sticker to both the top and bottom as shown. Cut a 12″ x 2-1/2″ strip of purple striped patterned paper and adhere it just above the flip-flops piece.

Step 4: Using the outside of the medium-sized Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle from aqua patterned paper. Using the outside of the largest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Red Blade, cut a circle from sunglasses patterned paper. Using the outside of the largest Custom Cutting System Circle Pattern and the Blue Blade, cut a circle with periwinkle shell patterned paper. Adhere the circles to the layout as shown.

Step 5: Place two 6″ x 4″ photos on the layout. Cut the sun from the variety mat pack and place on the layout along with additional stickers and layered embellishments. Journal as desired.
