Highlight Hue-tiful Memories With This Blue Layout

Ahh, blue. A hue which oftentimes hails a first-place ranking as humanity’s most preferred shade. This primary tone calls to mind feelings of calmness, serenity, tranquility and peace. And it’s also a primary pigment and top-notch tinge within the Botanical Burst collection! See for yourself with this blue layout and let your creativity flourish with this Grade A shade!

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of Black Solid Cardstock (or a Black Refill Page) as the base for this layout.

Step 2: Cut a 1-1/2″ x 11-3/4″ strip of large polka dots paper, scalloping one side with the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade. Cut a 2″ x 11-3/4″ strip of scallops paper. Cut a 1-1/2″ x 11-3/4″ strip of small polka dots paper, scalloping one side with the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade. Adhere side by side to the left side of the layout as shown.

Step 3: Cut an 11-3/4″ x 1″ strip of tonal hydrangea blossoms paper, scalloping one side with the 12-inch Trimmer and the Scallop Blade. Adhere along the bottom of the layout, about 1-1/4″ from the edge.

Step 4: Cut a 4-1/2″ x 6″ piece of plaid paper. Cut a 4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of White Solid Cardstock. Crop a photo to measure 3-3/4″ x 5-1/4″. Layer and mount to the layout. Crop two photos to 5-1/2″ x 4″ and mount on the layout.

Step 5: Layer and adhere blue petals and flowers foiled embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for added dimension. Apply three epoxy stickers to the bottom right-hand corner.

Step 6: Journal as desired with a Black Dual-Tip Pen.

  1. Please can you omit the shop Australia, shop Canada from the supplies list. Use a header or footnote stating that these products are available through advisers in U.S, Australia and Canada or direct from CM website. At ………….
    This would make the supply list much easier to follow. It is just plain annoying. And wastes space taking longer to get to and follow the directions. Especially when using a cell phone. Thank you.
