Hit The Slopes With This Winter Scrapbook Layout

Hit the slopes… and this scrapbooking idea! We’re calling all snow bunnies, savant skiers and savvy snowboarders for this winter scrapbook layout! After a day on the powder, chill out and relax by making this project. It’ll warm your heart like a hot cup of cocoa!

Skiing and snowboarding themed layouts with three photos of a snowboarder on a mountain and a border on the right-hand side composed of triangle-shaped cutouts and ski embellishments.

To create this layout you will need:

Step 1: Use a piece of White Solid Cardstock as the base for this layout. Cut an 8″ x 11-1/2″ piece of dotted triangles paper and adhere on the left side of the layout.

Step 2: Cut a 3-1/4″ strip with each snowflakes, scattered snow and northern lights papers. Using a ruler and pencil, mark 2-3/4″ on one side of a strip. Find the middle, or 1-3/8″, and mark this on the opposite side. Draw lines connecting the triangle. Cut the triangle, then use it as a pattern to cut the rest. You will need two triangles of northern lights and three triangles each of snowflakes and scattered snow papers. Adhere on the right side of the layout, cutting two in half at the top and bottom to fit.

Step 3: Cut a 6-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ piece with each scattered snow and northern lights papers. Adhere the scattered snow piece on the lower-left of the layout; top with a section of a mountains border sticker. Adhere two 3-1/2″ x 5″ photos on top. Crop a photo to 5-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ and adhere on the northern lights piece. Mount on the layout as shown.

Step 4: Adhere stickers and embellishments, popping some up with Foam Squares for added dimension.

Step 5: Journal as desired.

What activities (snowboarding, skiing, sledding, skating, etc.) do you like to do in winter? What do you think about this winter scrapbook layout?
