In this post, you will find ALL four sketches for this crop (these sketches are for the entire weekend; no additional sketches will be posted), a downloadable PDF with the four sketches for your convenience, hashtags to use when posting your challenge layouts in the Virtual Crop Group, prize information and layout inspiration. This is about to be an amazing weekend and we can’t wait to see what you create!
To make sure we see all your submissions for a chance to win, you’ll want to post each layout you complete as its own new post with the hashtag for that challenge. You have until Tuesday, December 16, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 17 December, 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layouts for the chance to win a prize (more details on what you can win further down this post!). Again, we’re so excited that you’re here. Happy scrapping!

Challenge #1 — #CMVirtualCrop1December2025

Challenge #2 — #CMVirtualCrop2December2025

Challenge #3 — #CMVirtualCrop3December2025

Challenge #4 — #CMVirtualCrop4December2025

Challenge #1

Collection Used: Noteworthy Days (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “After working with the Noteworthy Days collection all year, there hasn’t been one month where I haven’t been delighted with the options for my monthly layout! I suggest starting your monthly layout by looking at the colors in the stickers and then choosing your patterned papers to match. This sketch is super flexible in that you can substitute any basic shape you like as the embellishment “anchors” — try circles, hexagons, tags, stars or hearts!“
Challenge #2

Collection Used: Winter Bliss (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “I loved the window paper and was able to trim strips to almost the same size as indicated on the sketch. They are a little short — 1-1/2″ instead of 1-1/2″ — but they work just fine. This page comes together quickly and would make a great two-page spread if you created a second, mirrored page.”
Challenge #4

Collection Used: Tropical Garden (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “Don’t be afraid to use the bold pattern! This bright tropical floral paper is a showstopper, but it is very strong. Balance it with a little white on one side and complement it with tonal papers in the same colors. And don’t be shy about the embellishments — choose ones that are equally big and bright, because smaller, less bold ones will disappear on your page. Those with a white bleed around the edges will stand out even more!”
Challenge #3

Collection Used: Gingerbread Fun (Shop Canada | Shop Australia)
Noreen’s Tip: “Another layout perfect for featuring a full sheet of your favorite bold and bright paper! Here, it is cut to span both pages, while a tonal paper and a solid cardstock provide some balance and contrast. I love cutting up sticker borders into smaller pieces and adhering them in a few different areas — they help draw the eye around the layout just like embellishment clusters do.”

NOTE: The Prize Pack will be awarded to one (1) participant in each challenge. Valid only for products currently in stock (excludes products that are out of stock or expected to return). The digital prize pack being awarded to one participant within all four challenges combined.
We will award the prizes randomly, but to win, it must be obvious you used the sketch we provided as inspiration to create a project. You’re highly encouraged to use Creative Memories products, but it’s not a requirement to win. You have until Tuesday, December 16, at 11:59pm CT (AU: Wednesday, 17 December, 4:59pm AEDT) to submit your layout(s). Prize winners will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 18, at noon CT (AU: Friday, 19 Dec.).

This is the LAST month to complete your 2025 Virtual Crop Tracker!

Hi! I love the virtual crop challenges. They are an inspiration for a lot of my pages. I would LOVE to see a challenge with sports involved as many of our kids or grandchildren are involved in sports and we want to scrap those memories. I would also like to see a challenge using the peekaboo pockets. I am excited to use the ones I just bought but would love some inspiration.
Thank you and Merry Christmas
Noreen – what great sketches for last VC of year and for the journey!! And I’m thinking of how could combine/interchange the singles for one of the pages in the doubles and vice versa. As these sketches seem so versatile. I try to look at sketches and imagine a layout and the papers and colors that sketch suggests to my brain before looking at the examples. You know how read the book before the movie so your vision of the how the folks and places look vs the director and set crew design it for us? Thank you for sharing us so many ways to use our supplies, ty ty ty.
I love the virtual crop challenges. They are a permanent inspiration in my sketches collection along with the sketch booklets, books and project booklets. When I feel an album I am working on is getting stale I go searching for a fresh idea. But I also love the monthly challenges as a stand alone event and now have a group of ladies who join me to scrap the VC together.
