Virtual Crop: Challenge 2

We are LOVING all the projects that you are posting on our Facebook Event Page!

Let’s keep moving—so we can get as many projects completed today as possible!  It’s all about the completed project!  Keeping those memories alive, in those beautiful scrapbooks of yours!

CHALLENGE 2:  Create a layout using the A Year to Remember Collection WITHOUT using the calendar grid pages!  (If you don’t have that collection, you can create a layout using any collection, but using the layouts shown as inspiration…(color, layout composition, or theme!!)……BUT, you will want to contact your ADVISOR to get the collection ordered, as the patterned papers are so versatile, and can be used on just about ANY themed scrapbooking layout!!!

Ingredients:

1. Cut Designer paper at 3″ and trim the two pieces to 11″ long (3″ x 11″ and 9″ x 11″).

2. Cut Black Cardstock to 11 1/4″ x 9 1/4″ and mat 11″ x 9″ Designer Paper.  Trim a piece of leftover Black Cardstock to 7″ x 3/8″.

3. Cut Cranberry to 11 1/8″ x 3 1/4″ and mat 11″ x 3″ Designer Paper, making sure right edge is flush.  Trim remaining Cranberry to 4 1/4″ x 6 1/4″ and use to mat photo (double mat with 6 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ Black Cardstock).

4:  Assemble as shown.

Ingredients:
Instructions:
1. Trim one 4 x 6 photo to 4″ x 4 1/4″ and one to 4″ x 5 1/2 inches.
2. Use navy pattern paper to mat all three photos and adhere to floral pattern base.
3. Punch 2 picket fence borders from green cardstock and trim to 1″ x 12 inches.
4. Cut a 1 1/2″ x 12″ strip from navy pattern paper and adhere to both picket fence borders as shown.
5. Punch a Lace Flower Chain border from white cardstock and adhere to border.
6. Using the outside track of the small oval pattern and the red blade, cut an oval from green cardstock.
7. Use the green blade to cut another oval from navy pattern paper.
8. Create faux stitching around edge of green oval with a black pen.
9. Create a title with Navy ABC/123 stickers.
10. Use card shown from A Year to Remember Embellishments and black pen to journal your story.

  1. I got an email saying Challenge #3 but I see it is actually Challenge #2 on the BLOG now. Thanks. I will await # 3 soon. I am scrapbooking too. Love this event.
